The snow disappeared quickly this morning. Heading in, there was an icy crust on the surface approaching the plateau before gaining the summit of Yr Garn at 900m that required kicking steps or use of pointy things on your feet to avoid a slip. I'm glad i wasn't wearing my Nike air max..
